Heather, I just ran across this post when I was idly perusing your site here and I wondered if I could do something for you. It looks like you have a bazillion apples and I wondered if you could use some applesauce this year. I have a motorized victorio strainer that allows me to do TONS of applesauce quickly and I think making applesauce for you would be a good trade if you were going to let me have grapes. I know how it is being pregnant and not being up to much canning- I always got super swollen feet and couldn’t do a thing by the end! Just thought I might be able to do something to help. I’m hoping when someone comments here you get an email so you notice it! I’ll try calling you some time in the next week anyway.

So, I’m blog-stalking YOU now Heather! Bwa ha ha! Hey, you’ve got a lot of neat stuff on here! You sound a lot like me. I’m sad I haven’t gotten to know you more and now I’ll have to move away. Boo. We really should get together sometime and chat it up about cloth diapers and the like. I love all your fun sewing projects and cooking/ baking/ canning adventures. It’s just what I’m into! I thought your little “class” tonight was great. I could tell you were nervous- but I thought you did great and I’m sure everyone in the room was glad they didn’t have to be up in front! I could only tell because I feel that way myself. As I skimmed through some of your old posts here I noticed one where you talked about being shy and content with how many friends you have, etc. I’m much like that myself- outgoing around family/friends, but not terribly outgoing otherwise. I can do a R.S. class if needed but I just feel really nervous and shy and like I don’t know a thing the whole time! Anyway, this is a ridiculously long comment, but just wanted to let you know that I think all the things you do are really neat and I’m amazed at how much you get done and what a fun and interesting woman you are. I’ll have to make myself call you (I have phone phobia!) one of these days so we can get together.

I’ve also been looking for ways to add color to a room. My most recent solution has been fun colored and textured accent pillows from Ross…I [heart]Ross! So many fun and random accent things for cheap.

This is the best tutorial I’ve seen for this project, hands down. Very cute skirt, done very well but without perfection and made the way you want it, your own length (which is what I love most about it). And please don’t put yourself (your butt) down. Women have got to stop doing that. You look beautiful. Now I’m going to use this tutorial to make a long one for myself. Thank you!!!
